Resonate Productions makes musical journalism by combining in-depth, social journalism with many layers of original music. We create performances, podcasts and articles on emotional blind spots in society.
With musical journalism, we uncover emotional blind spots in society. These are feelings and social phenomena that deeply influence the lives of many, but it’s hard to put them into words. With our work, we offer ways out of the complex problems these blind spots bring about, and spark meaningful conversations people did not yet know they were longing for.
We carry out in-depth, social journalism, carried out all over the world. Original interviews and live interactions form the basis of each work. We then compose custom-made, original music to these testimonies, which makes it possible to the journalism on a rational, emotional and subliminal level: all at once.
Andrea Voets is artistic director and De Balie in Amsterdam (NL) is our home-base.
